Dr. Daniel Eilen is currently the Associate Director of the Master of Science in Data Analytics at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Dan joined UCF in 2017 and is responsible the running the educational initiatives in the Complex Adaptive System Laboratory in the UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science in addition to helping formulate data analytics education strategy across the University. Prior to joining UCF, Dan was the Associate Director of Graduate Business Programs at the Krannert School of Management, Purdue University. Dan holds a Doctorate in Management and Leadership from Drexel University, a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from Indiana State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Indiana University. Dan serves as the Women in Data Science Ambassador for Central Florida as well as the chair of the Experiential Learning Committee on the UCF Data Science advisory Board. Dan’s research interests include: workforce development, business entrepreneurship, and technology applications for personnel improvement.
