My name is Jose Johnson and I’m a sophomore in Computer Science at the University of Central Florida. I am originally from Cuba, where my dad did a lot of tinkering with computers. Once we moved to the United States, that hobby was something that he shared with me and a large factor in my decision to ultimately pursue a career in Computer Science. I am a research assistant at the Complex Adaptive Systems Laboratory (CASL) working on artificial social intelligence under the ASIST project (Artificial Social Intelligence for Successful Teams). Outside of school, I love longboarding, playing guitar, and following the NBA.
Research Interests: Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing
