Amirarsalan is a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of Central Florida and a Graduate Research Assistant in the Complex Adaptive Systems Lab. Amirarsalan has worked on several projects and his research includes the intersection of machine learning and natural language processing, networks science, and agent-based modeling where he has studied disinformation spread in social networks, effects of polarization in social media, Review on Learning and Extracting Graph Features for Link Prediction, and understanding the dynamics of COVID-19 spread using agent-based modeling. Amirarsalan’s research has been supported by grants from DARPA and NSF.
