Disney-UCF Lifelong Learning Program: Deep Learning Intrapreneurship Pilot
Overview
The Disney Deep Learning Pilot has been developed as a partnership between The University of Central Florida, College of Engineering and Computer Science and The Walt Disney Company to provide deep machine learning instruction to Disney technical staff. The pilot program is scheduled to last for one year. Learning modules will be offered over the 4 quarters of Disney’s fiscal year. The courses will be taught in-person on Disney property in Orlando Florida and will use Disney’s technology pipeline for electronic course content delivery. Class size will not exceed 25 students. UCF will have input with regards to determining what Disney employees are chosen to participate in the pilot. The Disney Deep Learning Pilot progresses through a deep machine learning curriculum starting at the beginner level and culminates in an Innovation Corp style project.
